My name is Aaron. Im a soon to be 21 year old Manitoban (in other words, “home” is in Manitoba, Canada…the boring empty middle part on top of North Dakota) I grew up on a farm, and went to a private Christian high school in the city that taught me all about what hypocrisy looks like…and planted a desire in me for something more than what I saw.
It took a year of university for that desire to grow into action-into a decision that I was no longer interested in pretending that I was fine with everything that I had in life, and that if Jesus claims to have something more, I would be willing to go wherever He would send me to get it.
That one decision has lead to a series of smaller decisions to trust Jesus and follow Him where He sends me-first to a Bible School in the heart of Texas, then to a summer camp, followed by a year of work back home, and a second year of Bible School. I will never regret a decision to follow Him-through these decisions, He has given me a better knowledge of Himself. A new life. Amazing brothers and sisters. And the better I get to know Him, the more I want of Him!
